About Chef Jay
My passion for cooking began at a young age, inspired by watching shows like Top Chef, Chopped, and MasterChef. What started as curiosity quickly turned into purpose as I found joy in cooking for my loved ones and seeing the happiness and fulfillment my food brought them. In those moments, I knew this was what I was meant to do.
I went on to pursue my culinary education at Helms College in Augusta, Georgia, where I earned my Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts. During my time there, catering and banquet service truly stood out to me. The ability to create beautiful displays paired with delicious, customized dishes for each client sparked something deeper; it showed me my calling.
With a Southern background, I bring soulful, comforting flavors into every dish, while blending in the refined techniques and presentation skills I’ve developed through my culinary training and professional kitchen experience. Every dish I create is made with intention, care, and love. My goal is for every client not just to enjoy the food, but to feel it!
